GSA Travel Discounts and Booking Service

German Studies Association has selected SIGNATURE DESTINATIONS of Phoenix, Arizona, a travel agency affiliated with CARLSON/WAGONS-LITS, as our official travel agency for the 20034 GSA Conference. We had a very good experience with Signature Destinations last year, and we are renewing our contracts with them. Do get on their list for e-mail notification of specials.

GSA has negotiated special airline discounts and car rental discounts for the Conference in New Orleans. These are only available through SIGNATURE. The agency has guaranteed GSA that they will offer the best fares available, and the best car rental fees available.

In addition, there are special discounts for airline tickets booked more than 60 days in advance of the Conference.

We are trying to serve GSA members in every way possible. SIGNATURE has also agreed to assist GSA members in booking transatlantic tickets at low fares , and they can give good service for all of your travel needs. All of this helps. The more tickets GSA members book through SIGNATURE, the more we can show the individual airlines that GSA has a meaningful traffic flow. We hope to use this to increase discounts available to our members in the future, as well as to bring other benefits to GSA. Up to now, participants have booked their tickets individually in a variety of ways, and it has been impossible to demonstrate that over 700 people fly to our Conference site. This way, we will be able to assist members by offering good fares, and show that we actually do have a heavy traffic flow. Hopefully, we can obtain even better discounts in the future, and more benefits to GSA and its members. Volume discounts help. For example, did you know that GSA has a special account at British Airways (Venture Club #7QX001US) under which you can earn BA frequent flyer miles AND, GSA also earns points as well? Whenever you fly BA, give them your frequent flyer number and our number, too. We both earn points.

This year, GSA is offering special discounts on United and Delta, and also on Avis Rental Cars for the New Orleans Conference. Call Signature to get the best prices, on these or other airlines and car rental companies. Signature will give you personal service.

How to book your airline ticket or car rental:

Call SIGNATURE at 1-800-486-6884 . Call Monday through Friday at business hours in Mountain Standard Time. Or, you can reach an agent directly by e-mail. One of the several agents available to you is wally@signaturedestinations.com .

You can have an e-mail copy of your booking, and an e-ticket will ensure that you do not have anything to lose. Just go to the airline ticket counter at your airport when you are ready to leave, and the boarding pass will be issued when you show a picture ID. Don't forget to give the SIGNATURE agent your frequent flyer number.
