Conference Information

GSA Conference pre-registration has now closed. All registration is now on site. The Conference Hotel has reclaimed all remaining rooms in our block, as the Conference approaches. At this moment, there are no rooms left for Thursday, October 3, but there are for the other days. The Hotel has made alternate arrangements at a neighboring hotel for some persons who are arriving on October 3. They will be put in our hotel for the remaining nights. A complimentary shuttle is available to our hotel from the alternate hotel for the one day.

If you have not yet booked a room, you must now do so directly with Town and Country Hotel, by telephone 619-291-7131. Tell them that you are with GSA Conference and they will see if they can give you a room at the Conference Rate. There also may be some GSA cancellations, so that a room MIGHT be available for October 3. Be sure and tell them that you are with GSA.

If you have booked a room, and have not received a confirmation, your e-mail return address may have been illegible (many are) or your credit card number was not legible. Call the hotel directly. For GSA Conference Registration, late registration (on-site registration) now applies. Remember, your discounted hotel room is only discounted IF you have also registered for the GSA Conference.

Mailing of Conference Programs!!!

Conference Programs are being mailed to all persons who were members as of June, 2002. If you are a conference participant, on the program, and did not join the GSA in sufficient time to be added to the membership roster by June 1, 2002, you may not receive a program in the mail. Your program will be waiting for you at the GSA Registration Desk in the Hotel. You can pick it up on arrival. In the meantime, you can print out the preliminary program from this web site.
