The German Studies Association is a national and international association in all fields of German Studies. Its interest spans the period from early times to present-day Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. A multi- and interdisciplinary organization, the Association welcomes as members individuals whose interests involve specific or broad aspects of history, literature, politics and government, and other fields relating to German Studies.

Members of the Association receive the German Studies Review, a scholarly journal published three times each year. The GSR contains articles and book reviews of current research. Publication is in the language of submission, English or German. Members of the Association are the primary book reviewers. Members also receive the Newsletter, published twice each year. The Newsletter contains information of interest to scholars in German Studies.

Membership:

US$40 for persons residing in North America

US$50 for persons residing elsewhere

US$70 or more for Sustaining Membership, containing a US$30 contribution to the Association

Membership dues may be paid by:

1) personal check drawn in US dollars on a US bank.

2) Master Card or Visa (give card number, name on card, and expiration date).

3) bank money order in US dollars.

Kindly understand that the different rates are for "residents" and not "citizens," since the different rates reflect postage requirements for the mailing of publications.
